Triumph & Tragedy – May 5, 2024

The Ark of God was being returned by the Philistines so why were there some problems surrounding that event? How should the Ark of God been transported? What was the problem with cows pulling the cart on which the Ark was being transported? Sacrifices were made to God publicly on a large stone. What was the problem with that? Why were there golden images of rats and tumors on the same stone where the cows were being sacrificed? Does God have specific instructions about worship that must be obeyed? How does any of this relate to us today? What important lessons can we learn from this biblical account of both triumph and tragedy?
