The Kingdom of Slave Labor – June 2, 2024

Why in the world would people willingly subject themselves to high taxation, slave labor and forced military enlistment when they really didn’t need to do that? What was the underlying reason that the people of Israel desired an earthly king to rule over them instead of the Lord God? Why did God’s people have such a strong desire to be like the world of the pagan nations surrounding them? These questions and more are addressed by Elder Andrew Redman as he expounds the text of Holy Scripture in the 8th chapter of 1st Samuel, during the Sunday Morning Worship Service at Grace Bible Church of North Georgia.
